Who we are

Kodiak Financial Ltd ("we") is the controller of the personal data collected on this site. Contact: hello@kodiakfin.co.uk.

What we collect and why

• Name and email, when you ask for the free check or buy the product. We use them to deliver what you asked for and, where you've opted in, to send tax and business tips (lawful basis: consent, or legitimate interests for customers under the soft opt-in rules).
• Purchase details (product, amount, date). Needed to provide the product and meet our tax and accounting obligations (lawful basis: contract and legal obligation).
• Advertising cookies, only if you click Accept. These help us measure whether our ads work (lawful basis: consent).

Who we share it with

Only the providers that run this service for us: Stripe (payments), MailerLite (email), Supabase (secure database, UK/EU hosted), Cloudflare (website hosting) and, if you accept cookies, Meta (ad measurement). We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Purchase records are kept for 6 years for tax purposes. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, or object to marketing at any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
