Terms of Sale
1. Who we are

2. What you're buying
- Can I Afford It? The AI Finance Director: a Master Prompt, a UK Rules Card for the 2026/27 tax year, a Business Profile template, a set-up guide and 60+ prompts, delivered through an online members area.
- Optional extras (only if you choose them): The Monthly Money Meeting + Tax Pot Autopilot and the FD Pro Pack.
- What you need: your own ChatGPT or Claude account (not included; free plans work, paid plans allow more file uploads), a web browser and an email address. There are no technical protection measures on the content.
- Updates: we'll update the UK Rules Card during the 2026/27 tax year if rates change. Access to the members area lasts at least 24 months from purchase.
3. Price and payment
Prices are shown in pounds and include VAT. Payment is taken by Stripe when you order. The contract is formed when payment succeeds. Stripe emails your receipt, showing the VAT.
4. Delivery
Access is immediate. After payment you're logged in on the thank-you page, and we email a welcome message with your personal members link and a confirmation of these terms, including your request for immediate access. If it hasn't arrived within 15 minutes, check your spam folder or email us.
5. Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content. At checkout you asked us to give you access straight away and acknowledged that you would lose this right once access began. So the 14-day cancellation right no longer applies once you have access. This doesn't affect your statutory rights (section 7) or our money-back guarantee (section 6). If for any reason you did not give that consent, you can cancel within 14 days for a full refund.
6. 30-day money-back guarantee
If the product isn't useful to you, email hello@kodiakfin.co.uk within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full, to your original payment method, within 14 days. There are no forms and no questions. Each extra you buy has its own 30 days from its purchase date. Access to the refunded product is removed when the refund is processed. This guarantee is in addition to your legal rights.
7. Your statutory rights
The digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described (Consumer Rights Act 2015). If it isn't, you're entitled to a repair or replacement, or in some cases a price reduction or refund. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
8. Information, not advice
The product is general educational information. It is not personal tax, accounting, legal, investment or financial advice, and buying it does not make you a client of Kodiak Financial Ltd or create a duty of care to advise you. The prompts help you use a third-party AI tool to organise and interpret your own figures. AI tools can make mistakes, misread documents and use out-of-date information. You're responsible for checking figures and decisions, especially on tax, VAT, payroll, dividends and distributable reserves, and for taking professional advice on your own circumstances. We are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and nothing in the product recommends any investment, pension, credit or debt solution. We don't guarantee any financial outcome.
9. AI tools and your data
ChatGPT, Claude and similar tools are run by third parties under their own terms. We don't see, receive or store anything you type into or upload to them. You're responsible for what you upload, including any personal data about customers, suppliers or staff. Our set-up guide explains how to limit what you share.
10. Licence
You may use the content in your own business, including sharing it with your own bookkeeper or co-directors. You may not resell, republish, share your login, or distribute the prompts or guides. We may suspend access if login details are shared.
11. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be limited. If you buy as a consumer, we're responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms. We are not responsible for business losses (such as lost profit or business interruption). If you buy as a business, our total liability is limited to the price you paid, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss or loss of profit, so far as the law allows.
12. Complaints
Email hello@kodiakfin.co.uk. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 days. We don't use an alternative dispute resolution scheme.
13. Changes and law
The version of these terms in force when you bought applies to your purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you're a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
